About

DeTocqueville’s Daughter is a former inner-city-public-school teacher, insurance claims adjustor, rural-parochial-school teacher, and inner-city-Catholic-school principal who is now teaching at a large Midwestern state university.

She and her husband live on a small farm and when she’s not busy following the careers of Jack Bauer, Olivia Dunham and Robbie Lewis or keeping track of the birds that are her neighbors, she is busy writing her dissertation on Catholic anthropology and the ideas of the American Founders and how they combine to form a first-rate background for citizenship education.
