Sesame Street’s Godfather

Tim Madigan at Philosophy Now writes about Tim Cooney, the late ex-husband of Joan Ganz Cooney, a founder of Children’s Television Network and creator of Sesame Street.

It’s a look at the light and dark sides of Cooney and the role he played in helping Sesame Street come into existence.

Read the whole thing. It’s a sad story.
